Well done reflection on a truly admirable individual. I greatly appreciate the historical bond between America and the U.K., early on as adversaries and as essential allies from 20th century forward. Queen Elizabeth II and Prince Phillip - and the Queen’s father, George VI - are true exemplars of enduring duty to the nation and deserve our respect and admiration. They earned it. Meanwhile, there is a lingering concern for Queen and Country - and the future of the monarchy. That is the succession of her weak, whiny self indulgent son Charles to the throne. Charles’s son, William, and his wife Kate, seem made from the same strong stuff as the Queen and Prince Phillip. The clueless Prince Charles and the galumphing Camilla - not so much. Good luck and God Bless Queen Elizabeth II and our U.K. cousins and allies.

Thank you, but I would not be quite so harsh on Charles..
Beautifully put. It's a fairly miserable picture but it does offer an opening for someone/some party to make the case for fixing it.
Thank you..much appreciated
This excellent, as always.
Terrific. Thank you, Stephen.
