Good piece by Philip Stephens. I tend to agree with most of it, including that Blair genuinely believed Iraq had weapons of mass destruction. Politicians tend even more than diplomats to risk falling prey to their own hubris. I describe this a bit in my book "Lessons in Diplomacy".
